Antwerp Marathon

The Antwerp Marathon Festival in Belgium features a marathon, half marathon, and 10K, each starting at Limaplein and finishing beneath the striking MAS Museum. The certified flat course takes runners through the heart of Antwerp, passing city landmarks such as Antwerp Central Station, the historic Zuid (South) district, and the iconic Boerentoren office tower.

Full marathon participants complete two city loops—first dipping into the port area before returning to vibrant neighbourhoods and riverside quays. The half marathon mirrors the second half of the long race, while the 10K showcases modern waterfront architecture in ’t Eilandje. All finish under the MAS.

The event includes chip timing, hydration and nutrition stations, pacers, medical support, official race shirts and medals, and a dynamic post-race atmosphere with local crowds and music.

As a destination-running race, Antwerp offers more than strong sports logistics. Visitors can explore the historic Grote Markt with St. Mary’s Cathedral and the Brabo Fountain, stroll the vibrant Zurenborg neighbourhood, and tour the modernist MAS Museum perched by the old harbour.
