Barossa Marathon Festival

The Barossa Marathon Festival by Brooks is a scenic running event based in Tanunda, within Australia’s renowned Barossa Valley wine region. It offers a marathon, half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km race on a certified, flat course along rural roads bordered by vineyards and historic wineries—ideal for fast times and personal bests. The start and finish are located at The Rex Aquatic Centre, where athletes enjoy bib pickup, race facilities, and post-race refreshments. Support includes water and sports drink stations, pacers, and event village services.

As a destination running race, it’s paired with wine-country tourism: participants can visit iconic wineries such as Château Tanunda and Seppeltsfield, enjoy wine tastings, artisan food producers, and rolling vineyard vistas from points like Mengler Hill.
