Björn Borg Helsinki Marathon

The Björn Borg Helsinki Marathon is a city marathon, half-marathon, 10 km road race, and relay event starting and finishing at Meripuisto in downtown Helsinki. The single-loop course showcases downtown streets and coastal promenades, offering seaside views and citywide scenery. Chip timing, hydration stations, pacers, and race support are provided for all distances.

Runners pass notable landmarks such as Helsinki Cathedral, Market Square, Finnish Opera House, and the vibrant harbour. As a destination race, it combines running tourism with exploring Helsinki’s waterfront attractions and cultural sites. After the race, participants often relax at seaside saunas, visit cafés along the harbour, or enjoy Finnish cuisine in the city center.
