The National Bank Open, also known as the Canadian Open, is a prestigious combined ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 tennis tournament operated by Tennis Canada. It alternates between Sobeys Stadium in Toronto, Ontario, for women’s matches, and IGA Stadium in Montreal, Quebec, for men’s matches (in 2026), both of which are played on outdoor hard courts. Tickets for the National Bank Open can be purchased through the official tournament website. Options include single-session tickets, full tournament passes, and premium hospitality packages. Mobile ticketing is used, and all ticket holders can access free public transport in Montreal on match days.
The tournament has recently expanded to a 12-day format with a 96-player draw, offering more matches, more sessions and a richer fan experience.
Beyond the tennis matches, both Toronto and Montreal are appealing travel destinations. In Toronto, sightseers can explore the Toronto Islands, stroll through the Distillery District, visit the CN Tower, and take a day trip to Niagara Falls, among other attractions.
In Montreal, fans can wander through the Old Port, sample food in the Plateau neighbourhood, or enjoy festivals and cultural events throughout the city, along with many other options.
